Delete your account
Effective: June 20, 2026. Last updated: June 20, 2026.
Plain-language summary. Anneal is a workout tracker by FusionLeaf Collective LLC. You can delete your account, your profile, and your data from inside the App at any time. This page explains exactly how to do it, what gets removed, and the few things we may keep. If you cannot complete the request inside the App, email [email protected] and we will process it.
How to delete your account
From inside the App
- Open Anneal on your phone.
- Go to Settings.
- Open the Account section.
- Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deletion is effective immediately on confirmation. You are signed out, and the account record and the data we hold for you in the cloud are removed within 30 days.
By email
If you cannot access the App, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. That link opens a new message with the subject "Delete my account" already filled in. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
What is removed
Deleting your account removes the following from our systems:
- Your account record and credentials (email and authentication details).
- Your public profile: username, display name, bio, and your profile photo, including the avatar image stored in our Supabase Storage.
- Your social graph: friends, follows, and blocks.
- Your attributed published content: workouts and splits you published to the public library under your profile.
- Your activity events: the social activity records tied to your account.
- Your share links: any links you created to share your content or profile.
- Your notification preferences.
- Your synced training data: any cloud-backup workouts, sessions, sets, personal bests, body measurements, and user settings that were synced from your device.
What may be kept
- Clones of your published content. If you published a workout or split and other users cloned it, those clones remain in the cloners' accounts after your original is removed.
- Backup snapshots of our cloud database may persist for up to 90 days before being overwritten as part of standard disaster-recovery practice.
- Safety records. Blocks and reports involving your account may be retained where needed to keep other people safe and to enforce our Community Guidelines.
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained in a form that is not linked to you personally.
- Records we are required to keep by law, such as transaction records for paid subscriptions, are retained for the period required by applicable law.
Local data on your device
Anneal stores your training data locally in a SQLite database on your phone. Deleting your account does not remove the local data. To remove the local data, uninstall the App from your device. On most Android devices this is done by long-pressing the App icon and selecting Uninstall, or via Settings, then Apps, then Anneal, then Uninstall.
Timing
- Account deletion via the App is effective immediately on confirmation. The account record and cloud data are removed within 30 days.
- Email-initiated deletions are processed within 30 days of identity verification.
- Backup snapshots roll off within 90 days.
