Account and Data Deletion
Effective: May 3, 2026. Last updated: July 25, 2026.
Plain-language summary. Anneal is a workout tracker by FusionLeaf Collective LLC. You can delete your account, or you can delete specific items of your data without deleting the account. Both options are described below. If you cannot complete a request inside the App, email [email protected] and we will process the request.
Delete your account
You can delete your Anneal account, and the data associated with it, from inside the App or by emailing us. For the complete, current list of what is removed and what may be kept, see Delete your account; the summary below is kept in sync with that page.
From inside the App
- Open Anneal on your phone.
- Go to Settings.
- Open the Account section.
- Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
By email
If you cannot access the App, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. That link opens a new message with the subject "Delete my account" already filled in. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account record and credentials (email and authentication details).
- Your public profile: username, display name, bio, and your profile photo, including the avatar image stored in our Supabase Storage.
- Your social graph: friends, follows, and blocks.
- Your attributed published content: workouts and splits you published to the public library under your profile.
- Your activity events: the social activity records tied to your account.
- Your share links: any links you created to share your content or profile.
- Your notification preferences.
- Your synced training data: any cloud-backup workouts, sessions, sets, personal bests, body measurements, and user settings that were synced from your device.
What may be kept
- Clones of your published content. If you published a workout or split and other users cloned it, those clones remain in the cloners' accounts after your original is removed.
- Backup snapshots of our cloud database may persist for up to 90 days before being overwritten as part of standard disaster-recovery practice.
- Beta feedback. If you submitted feedback through the in-app Feedback button, the feedback text is kept without any link to your identity; any screenshots you attached are deleted.
- Safety records. Blocks and reports involving your account may be retained where needed to keep other people safe and to enforce our Community Guidelines.
- Aggregated, anonymized usage analytics may be retained in a form that is not linked to you personally.
- Records we are required to keep by law, such as transaction records for paid subscriptions, are retained for the period required by applicable law.
Timing
- Account deletion via the App is effective immediately on confirmation. The cloud-backup data and account record are removed from Supabase within 30 days.
- Email-initiated deletions are processed within 30 days of identity verification.
- Backup snapshots roll off within 90 days.
Local data on your device
Anneal stores your training data locally in a SQLite database on your phone. Deleting your account does not remove the local data. To remove the local data, uninstall the App from your device. On most Android devices this is done by long-pressing the App icon and selecting Uninstall, or via Settings, then Apps, then Anneal, then Uninstall.
Delete specific data without deleting your account
You can delete individual items of your data inside the App, or request a broader deletion by email, without deleting your account.
From inside the App
You can delete the following items individually inside the App:
- Workouts: open a workout, then tap the menu and choose Delete.
- Sessions: open a session in your history and choose Delete.
- Sets: swipe or long-press a set in the active session screen.
- Body measurements: open a measurement entry and choose Delete.
- Custom exercises you created: open the exercise library, find your custom exercise, and choose Delete.
- Split schedules and recurring schedules: open the calendar entry and choose Delete.
- Published library content: open the listing under My published items and choose Unpublish.
If cloud backup is enabled, the deletion is mirrored to your cloud-backup copy on the next sync.
By email
If you would like a broader deletion, for example all of your training history but not your account, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. That link opens a new message with the subject "Delete my data" already filled in; describe what you would like removed. We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
What is deleted
Whatever you remove inside the App, or specify in your email request. Common categories: workouts, sessions, sets, body measurements, custom exercises, schedules, published-library entries.
What may be kept
- Your account itself remains active. Email, profile, and authentication credentials are not affected by a data-deletion request.
- Backup snapshots of our cloud database may persist for up to 90 days before being overwritten.
- Aggregated, anonymized usage analytics may be retained.
- Cloned public content: if you published a workout or split that other users cloned, those clones remain in the cloners' accounts after you delete the original.
Timing
- In-app deletions take effect immediately and propagate to cloud backup on the next sync.
- Email-initiated requests are processed within 30 days of identity verification.
